TLM Testimonial Boltrics
TLM Logistics moves all logistics activities to one integrated logistics platform
TLM Logistics is a fast-growing 3PL logistics provider based in the UAE. With close 1 million Square Feet of warehousing footprint across the Jebel Ali Free Zone and Dubai South Free Zone, the TLM Group delivers end-to-end logistics services across multiple verticals. From dry goods and temperature-controlled storage to transportation, freight forwarding, and now chemical logistics.
When TLM launched a new dedicated chemical logistics facility in 2025, the company faced a level of operational and compliance complexity that could no longer be managed with fragmented systems. To support dangerous goods handling, finance, and warehouse operations in a structured and scalable way, TLM decided to move all logistics activities to one integrated software platform.
New facility. New WMS.
The launch of a new dangerous goods warehouse demanded a new software solution. ‘Chemical logistics brings a level of complexity that cannot be managed with spreadsheets or generic software,’ explains Ravi Choksi, Finance Manager at TLM Group. “We needed a dedicated solution that could support dangerous goods compliance, warehouse operations, and finance, all in one platform.”
After an extensive search and several months of detailed discussions, TLM chose Boltrics WMS, supported by Boltrics’ local reseller in the area: Quality Point.
Ravi continues: “One of the key factors in our decision was that Boltrics offers a dedicated logistics software solution, focused on a single industry rather than being a generic provider. During the demos, the availability of advanced logistics capabilities stood out, together with the stability of the Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central platform.”
Going live in just 45 days
One of the biggest challenges came from timing. The new chemical logistics facility was completed much earlier than expected, leaving TLM with just 45 days to become operational.
Ravi: “Our warehouse was ready far ahead of schedule. That was great news but suddenly we had to go live within 45 days. This incredibly tight deadline could only be achieved thanks to Boltrics’ Fast-Track approach, using its Marketplace to set a solid foundation and become operationally stable. We achieved around 80–85% of our objectives at go-live, and are now continuing to optimize and automate further while we are already working with the system.”
More control, less manual work
Even in the early stages, TLM is already experiencing the impact of working with Boltrics. “We’ve gained significantly more control over the inventory. And dangerous goods are managed in a much more structured way, especially classification and compliance.”
“At the same time, integrated finance and workflow functionality has significantly reduced manual effort. We no longer need to manually verify every shipment and invoice,” Ravi adds. “Processes that used to depend on checks, spreadsheets, and handovers are now driven by flexible workflows within the system.”
Looking ahead: one platform for all logistics activities
TLM’s ambitions go beyond the new chemical facility. In the coming years, the company aims to roll out Boltrics across its existing dry goods and temperature-controlled warehouses, and to bring its freight forwarding activities onto the same platform. “Our goal is to shut down our older ERP and WMS systems and move everything to Boltrics. So, we can support our complete warehousing and freight forwarding activities on one integrated platform.”
In doing so, TLM is taking a different approach than many logistics providers in the region. “Many logistics companies here still work with two or more ERP systems and a heavy dependency on Excel,” Ravi concludes. “We want to lead the way by replacing fragmented tools with strong workflows in one dedicated, stable software solution.”
